Our Goal
Curious by Nature Farm & Forest School is a nature-based educational program that provides a unique (mostly) outdoor educational experience for children of all ages. By immersing students in nature, Curious by Nature makes academics fun, fosters a deep connection with the environment, and promotes social development and personal growth. Students engage in real-world problem-solving, develop teamwork skills, learn respect for all life, and cultivate a sense of responsibility, all while challenging their endurance and connecting with the natural world. Our goal is to encourage your child to find their wild—their passions, strengths, and unique learning style—here at Curious by Nature!

Farm & Forest School
September - May
Monday - Wednesday - Friday
At Curious by Nature Farm and Forest School, we aim to provide a unique and engaging educational experience for children. Mornings are structured learning time, during which we integrate reading, writing, and social studies. After lunch together, we explore our forest and farm, learning hands-on, place-based science through STEAM projects and nature immersion. By connecting young minds with nature, we foster a deep appreciation for the environment, promote holistic development, and inspire a lifelong love for learning.
Summer Camp
June - August
Dates TBD*
Our Curious By Nature summer camps are an agricultural and nature-based program for children designed to build an appreciation for the natural world around us and its creatures. Each week has a special theme, including topics such as foraging, wildcrafting, fort-building, baking, and animal care. We will be outside 100% of the time, with our canvas camp tent and wood stove as our classroom for shelter as needed. Tutoring is also available. Sign-up required- check out our dates with class descriptions.
Bonus Fridays

Our structured school week is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Bonus Friday is an evening where students can explore subjects they’re most interested in, such as herbalism, wildcrafting, outdoor skills, cooking, and more. These Fridays focus on specific age groups and skill levels, with topics rotating monthly based on student interests. Please be sure to review the current schedule for class offerings. *Sign-up required- check out our dates with class descriptions.
